Moira Canal Festival 2014

On May 17th/18th 2014, we made our second official outing, at Moira Furnace, as part of the moira canal festival.

We set up among the many exhibits in a lovely Marquee and enjoyed being part of a big event in the sunshine!

We set up in a marquee, sign up & ready to go!

A nice selection of Tugs were on display, including Zorran and Sea Rogue, who were astonished at what was going on...

Rosie and Jim stopped by for a visit, having their photograph taken with OJ/Lakesider!

We were also filmed by the BBC for a local news segment! Exciting Stuff!

Sunshine got to have his first real river trip, albeit on another boat!

Zip kept an eye on the merchandise stall, a risky move to be sure given his reputation!

We didn't attend in 2015 and don't currently have plans to attend in 2016 due to logistical issues, but as always never say never, if things could be worked out we certainly would have fun!
