THE STAR TUGS ON TOUR

AT THE MIDLAND RAILWAY - BUTTERLEY!

We have a semi permanent presence at Butterley year round, but on September 26th/27th 2015, we had our second annual big event, where we celebrated another year of TUGs and the return of Boomer!

Once again we were set up in the beautiful Swanwick Junction Station building!

All of the tugs were on display again, and plenty of people came to see them!

This event featured the triumphant return of Boomer to the Tugs fold! This followed a painstaking restoration of the "Old Man" model to Boomer guise!

Boomer was given pride of place, on his own table so everyone got a chance to see him!

Once again Star Tug Ted was on hand to look after the display, pictured here with the Star Tugs, and a more excited than usual looking Ten Cents.

Another new item at the event was a new face for Hercules, from a production mould. As yet unpainted but just another of our continuing developments to the exhibition and collection.

We are always at Butterley, as it is the home of our exhibition, open on selected weekends.

We hope to make this big event an annual thing, so keep your eye out for news!

WHEN WILL WE BE BACK?
